Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SQL Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis and a strong proficiency in SQL. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to derive insights from complex datasets, support data-driven decision-making, and optimize business processes. The Senior SQL Data Analyst will play a critical role in leveraging data to create value and drive company growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights using advanced SQL queries and data analysis techniques.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights that support strategic initiatives.
3. Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions to streamline data processes.
4. Produce clear and concise data reports and dashboards to convey findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure data integrity.
6. Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering an environment of learning and development within the team.
Skills & Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis with a strong emphasis on SQL.
3. Proven expertise in database management systems and data warehousing solutions.
4. Solid experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex data structures.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
